Extra-Long Green Chilli is a productive variety producing impressively long, slender green chillies with a bright, medium heat and fresh, crisp flavour. Great for frying, roasting, curries and pickles, the eye-catching pods are as useful as they are attractive. The sturdy, bushy plants crop heavily over a long season in warm climates. Sow in full sun in fertile, well-draining soil, water moderately, and harvest long pods in about 65–75 days. Easy to grow in pots, grow bags or garden beds, this variety gives a generous, home-grown supply of fresh green chillies.
