Mad Hatter Chilli (Bishop’s Crown) is a delightful ornamental-edible variety producing charming three-lobed, hat-shaped pods with a mild, sweet-and-fruity flavour and only a gentle hint of heat. As pretty as they are tasty, the crisp pods are lovely in salads, salsas, pickles and stuffing. The vigorous, bushy plants are very productive and grow beautifully in pots and grow bags. Sow in full sun in fertile, well-draining soil, water moderately, and harvest colourful pods in about 80–90 days. A fun, family-friendly novelty for chilli collectors and terrace gardeners.
