Dianthus

Dianthus is a charming, sweetly-scented flowering plant producing frilly, jewel-toned blooms in pink, red, white and bicolours on neat, compact plants. Free-flowering and hardy, it’s perfect for borders, edging, pots and cut flowers, and blooms generously in the cooler season. Sow seeds in full sun to partial shade in fertile, well-draining soil, water regularly, and enjoy masses of flowers in about 60–70 days. Easy to grow and delightfully fragrant, dianthus brings dainty, long-lasting colour to garden beds, containers and terrace gardens.
